This was one of the best experiences I have had dining out. Started with a welcoming greeting and quick table service; I ordered the BBQ sandwich with Mac & Cheese and side of Cream Corn - both SO delicious. When my food was delivered, the lady asked my name and in turned used my name to ask if I needed anything additional. That's a WOW right there I won't forget. They were right there to get me a drink refill without hesitation and then when I went to check out, there wasnt a line for a tip. So unusual compared to everywhere else nowadays. I was just amazed with the focus on good food and good service! Im going around and bragging about this place to everyone I know! Love DBA Chastain!

I cannot express how awesome the food is. Little tip- all the BBQ is awesome! But you need to have collard greens and the creamed corn to go with it! Service is always excellent. It is one of my go to places to take customers on a nice lunch because this place is always consistently GREAT!

I had DBA cater a cookout at my house recently, and...it was amazing. First off I asked for them to deliver to my home by 5:30 on Saturday night. And I live in Midtown. The delivery woman showed up at 5:28. Getting into my part of town on a Saturday at that time is extremely impressive. Perfect timing. And gratefully appreciated by my guests. They ate everything.. The chicken wings were completely devoured, and (for whatever reason) I did not want coleslaw and I told the manager no thank you. He said trust me, you’re gonna want some... and some buns for sliders. By the end of the night guests were scraping the tin to get the last bite of coleslaw. And the buns were eaten like popcorn. Gone.. and the macaroni and cheese was just absolutely murdered. There was nothing left. The chicken, brisket and smoked turkey... I think I may have had one serving (combined) for one person left - and I ordered for 40. Everything was fantastic! Thank you. Just...Thank you.

This was my husband and I’s first time visiting DBA Barbecue, and we were pleasantly surprised! I’m usually hesitant about barbecue spots because they tend to be overpriced and lacking in flavor—especially in Atlanta—but this place proved me wrong. We ordered the pulled pork and asked for a recommendation, and the woman at the counter suggested the sweet barbecue wings—and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The wings were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily the highlight of our meal. We also got the Brunswick stew and mac & cheese, both of which were delicious and well-seasoned. Service was fast—our food came out within minutes, and there was no wait at all. The restaurant wasn’t crowded, making for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere exceeded our expectations.

I had eaten at a D.B.A. Barbecue several years ago at a different location and enjoyed the food but had not visited again. Today I decided to have lunch at the DBA Chastain location on Roswell Road (next door to Fellini's, at the intersection of Wieuca), and the food was absolutely delicious!!! I saw that they were the winner of a 2024 Golden Spatula Award, and I loved the 100 Health Rating posted on the wall. My sandwich was served with Zapps Potato Chips (New Orleans Kettle Style), which were also very good. I am kicking myself for not having been coming to this place frequently. I will definitely be a repeat visitor from now on. The person who was with me ordered brisket, and said it was the best he had ever had. D.B.A. has excellent, high-quality food, friendly service, affordable and easy dining, free parking at the door ... What's not to like? But "like" is an understatement. I LOVED IT!!!

The food is delicious! We have ordered from this place twice and it was tasty both times. I usually have trouble with bbq because the sides are always a disappointment - but DBA does them right. The sweet potato tots are so good and are not greasy. Same can be said of the French fries. The cream corn has a kick to it and is made with corn that is grilled first. The ribs are a must. My boyfriend had the brisket and pulled pork but I did not taste those because I was too focused on my own plate. Maybe next time!

DBA Barbecue Chastain is an absolute gem! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful—the baked beans, collard greens, and chicken wings were some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection! And the margarita? Amazing! It was so fresh, and I was impressed that their skinny margarita had no syrup but still tasted incredible. The service was just as great as the food, making the entire experience top-notch. This will definitely be my new go-to spot in Chastain! J Herrera

Matt with DBA was great to work with for our 150 person event. The online catering portal is super helpful for invoice review and payment. The food and service were excellent. We had pulled pork, chicken, baked beans, Mac and cheese, salad, and of course banana pudding. They even boxed up the leftovers. The guests absolutely loved i. I also quoted two other BBQ restaurants for the event and DBA was the most affordable!
